Bulk Phosphates

Natural rock phosphates come from apatite rock deposits formed millions of years ago by marine life that left behind fossils and shells composed mainly of calcium phosphates.

For millions of years, the remains accumulated and were subjected to millions of tons of pressure, creating sedimentary rock deposits. One of the world's richest apatite rock deposits was discovered in northern Peru. Most of the phosphates used in modern agriculture, science, and industry are refined from apatite rock.

Phosphate rock is an excellent natural source of phosphorus, calcium, and numerous essential trace elements. It contains more than 22.1% of the total phosphate.

The consistency of phosphate rock is that of a granular material, with a particle size of 90 % < 1 mm, which flows well and can be used with any type of distribution equipment, including rotary spreaders.
