One of the world&#039;s richest apatite rock deposits was discovered in northern Peru. Most of the phosphates used in modern agriculture, science, and industry are refined from apatite rock.<\/p>\n<p>Phosphate rock is an excellent natural source of phosphorus, calcium, and numerous essential trace elements.
